Like many pet owners, you may be tired of clicking "Contact Us" on a web site, only to be rewarded with a form to fill out, a phone number to dial, or an email address with a promise of a 24-48 hour response time. Who has time? It's lucky you could remember to make the appointment for Rover's annual exam anyway.
And if you do call? You'll probably be put on hold at best. Worst case scenario: "Press 1 if you want to leave a message for Dr. Smith. Press 2 if you want to leave a message for Dr. Jones." And so on.
Austin Vet Care has just pioneered a "Click to Call" service on its web site that promises to end the frustration. If you click where designated, the veterinary practice calls you. That's right. They call YOU. When you click on the web site link, you're prompted to enter your phone number. You may ask to be called "right now," or in 1 or 2 minutes. Then the veterinary practice gets in touch. Plus, this is a 24/7 service!
